$120,125.00, you will need to round it up to $120,500.00 to
use the manual method.

mortgage; divide it by 100 and multiply it by the
appropriate rate.

The following rates
apply to each $100.00, or any fractional part thereof, of
the mortgage amount:
If the term of the mortgage is 5
years or more
10 cents
If the term of the mortgage is 4
years and less than 5 years
8 cents
If the term of the mortgage is 3
years and less than 4 years
6 cents
If the term of the mortgage is 2
years and less than 3 years
4 cents
If the term of the mortgage is
less than 2 years
2 cents
If the amount of the mortgage is
less than $100.00
10 cents
NOTE: If you
have a mortgage that is not an even dollar amount, you will
have to round the mortgage up to the nearest 100 to
calculate the mortgage tax. Example: If you have a mortgage
for $20,275.00, you will need to round it up to $20,300.00
to use the manual method.
